Work is going well. It's harder than I thought, but good so far. Still in training for another 2 weeks, can't wait to be out of training!

Booked my leave for next feb, as well as all my relevant flights. If all goes well, on Feb 12th 2008, at 7pm EST I will be frolicking in the snow in canada, and getting strange looks from people as I shout "OMG SNOWFLAKE YAY!"

So I got the job I was interviewed for a while ago. Yay I start in just under 2 weeks - which is awesome because I desperately need the cash. Trying to get bills paid off and save up as much as I can, so I know that I have no long term financial commitments and I can do what I want with my life when I decide what that is

I'm slowly getting around to canada photos. They're nothing special, but I feel like I might as well make some kinda of use of this subscription and as I have no batteries for my camera and apparently no will to take photos - these will have to do.

Maybe some day soon I'll get off my arse and take something semi decent - something I haven't done in a while.

American falls, from the Maid of the Mist boat. The boat went like

right up to the canadian falls, and just kinda stayed right there

for a couple of minutes - it was insane. You can feel that the

boat is trying to move forwards but the current is so strong it

just stays in the same place, and the water underneath just gets

rougher and rougher till you have to hold on to something to keep

standing lol. It was pretty awesome, but kinda scary Oh, and

the funny blue raincoats the give you... definitely worth having

lol. Camera got a few showers behind the falls... so I decided not

to take it out near the canadian falls. Good thing too, I don't

think it'd have worked afterwards lol
